ANIfit products provide our pets with the food they were used to in their original environments. Natural food which they still require today. ANIfit recipes are as close to the original prey of dogs and cats as possible and contain all the nutrients and minerals your pet needs.

The mixture of meat, vegetables and some other ingredients including potatoes, have been adapted to the meet the current needs of our pets. Hence, the use of 100% natural ingredients and a high 90- 99% fresh meat content in ANIfit products.  

Our success proves us right! Many pets have shown new vitality, an improved metabolic function and increased energy levels, usually two to three weeks after their diet was switched to ANIfit.

Animals which are fed a healthy diet have a significantly higher quality of life and a significantly higher life expectancy.

The main goal of Anifit is the natural feeding of dogs and cats. An important role by doing this is the protection of our environment.

Recycling
We have chosen tins as the packaging for our dog food and cat food because they best protect the contents from damage, preserve the nutritional values well and are easy to recycle. Anifit's participation in a recycling system means that the raw materials used can be collected and recycled. This saves thousands of tonnes of CO^₂ and reduces the greenhouse effect. More than 99% of our packaging is recyclable.

CO2-neutral shipping
Anifit ships its products carbon-neutrally with both the delivery company DHL and the delivery company DPD. This means that all carbon dioxide emissions generated during transport are offset by internal or external climate protection measures. The measures used range from solar energy projects and the reforestation of rainforests to vehicle conversions.

Bio-degradable materials 
Anifit tries as best as possible to use materials that are bio-degradable. Examples are compostable cat litter or bio-degradable feces-bags that relieve our environment from unnecessary waste. 

Provital pays for the disposal of the various packaging materials to the disposal organizations. For our customers in France is the display of the Triman-Logos obligatory. Concerning the waste-disposal you can find more information on this page in French.

Anifit food is suitable for all breeds. There are practically no differences in nutritional requirements between the breeds. ¹⁾

For this reason Anifit doesn’t depict animals of a certain breed on its labels, but instead quite deliberately represents the animals in a caricature-like drawing.

Well-known caricaturist, Thomas Wizany, designed the labels, thereby achieving a link between pet food and art in a unique way.

He has successfully graphically translated the names of our meals with great leadership and delicate humour. Take some time to look at the different subjects on our labels and discover the many lovingly designed details.

Portrait of the artist:
The architect and caricaturist born in 1967 in Salzburg studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in Prof Gustav Peichl’s master school. After completing his studies in 1992 study trips to Dijon and Siena followed. Since 1987 he has drawn daily for the Salzburger Nachrichten (an Austrian newspaper published daily in German language), where you can find his caricatures on the cover every Saturday. In addition to his occupation as a political caricaturist he also works as a book illustrator. In 2007 Thomas Wizany was awarded one of the most prestigious journalism awards in Austria, the René-Marcic award. In granting the award the jury stated: “Again and again he has proven that his caricatures can say more than a thousand words.”

Provital works with a packaging disposal company to support the recycling of used packaging from products delivered to customers within Germany and Austria.

Please remember that all packaging waste should be clean and dry before being placed in the recycling bin.

GERMANY

In Germany, there are - with regional differences - blue waste bins for paper, brown or green waste bins for biologically recyclable waste, yellow waste bins for plastic and black waste bins for residual waste.

Tin cans, plastic cups, plastic bags

These products can be disposed of in the yellow bin or yellow bag. As the tinplate is 100 per cent recyclable, it can be reused as often as required. 99% of the plastic bags used by Provital in the packaging are also 100% recyclable.

Glass

Please dispose of glass via the municipal glass containers. Glass bottle lids should be disposed of in the yellow bin or yellow bag.

Packaging material

Cardboard boxes, cardboard folders, envelopes and paper bags are disposed of as part of the waste disposal organised by the municipality (waste paper collection) and are subsequently largely recycled. Parcel tape is not recyclable. Please remove it and disassemble all cardboard boxes before throwing them into the recycling bin.

AUSTRIA

In Austria, waste is collected differently in some cases. If available or offered, the disposal of

• Tin cans: at the metal collection points
• Plastic cans and plastic bags: Depending on the region, these are either placed in the yellow bag, the yellow bin or the waste collection centre
• Cardboard: at the paper collection centres
• Glass: at the glass collection points
